A flavorful Chinese-inspired stir-fry featuring tender beef and crisp broccoli, coated in savory soy and sesame flavors, perfect for a quick, satisfying meal for families or friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thin sliced to 1 to 2-inches long
  • 1 bunch broccoli, shredded to 2 to 3-inches long
  • 4 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp cooking wine
  • 5 Tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, and cooking wine.
  2. Heat peanut oil in a preheated wok.
  3. Quickly stir-fry beef until the meat changes color.
  4. Pull beef up on the side of the wok to stop it from cooking.
  5. Add water to the wok and place broccoli along the sides of the wok to steam with the lid on for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Remove excess water from the wok.
  7. Pull all the food down into the center of the wok and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
