Ingredients

  • 1 lb. broccoli
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • pinch of ground red pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts
  • 3 1/4 tsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli and water chestnuts in a medium pan, covered, in a small amount of boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and keep warm.
  3. In the same saucepan, melt the butter.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and ground red pepper.
  5. Heat thoroughly.
  6. Pour over the cooked broccoli and serve.
