Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. linguine
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 1/4 c. butter/margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli in a small amount of boiling salted water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and chop the broccoli.
  3. Cook linguine according to package directions; drain.
  4. Combine cooked linguine, broccoli, sliced mushrooms, half and half, and butter in a saucepan.
  5. Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cheese and stir until melted and well combined.
