Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. brownie mix
  • 1/2 c. flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare brownies as directed on the package, stirring in coconut and chopped nuts before baking.
  3. Bake the brownies as directed and allow them to cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, softened margarine, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gradually stir in milk, one teaspoon at a time, until the frosting reaches spreading consistency.
  6. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled brownies.
  7. Refrigerate until the topping is firm, about 30 minutes.
  8. In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate and 2 teaspoons margarine until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted chocolate evenly over the frosting.
  10. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
