Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1 uncooked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 3/4 cup pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs just to blend.
  2. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, and salt.
  3. Sprinkle chopped cranberries in the pastry shell.
  4. Pour the syrup mixture over the cranberries.
  5. Top the pie with pecan halves.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 50 to 55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
