Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Frosting:
  • 2 Tablespoons margarine
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine with brown sugar in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Add egg and mix well. Stir in walnuts and coconut. Add flour and cocoa and mix well. Put into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 320 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  2. Blend frosting ingredients in a small bowl. Spread over hot brownies. Cool and cut into squares.
