A hearty overnight brunch casserole combining sausage, cheese, eggs, and bread with creamy mushroom flavor, perfect for breakfast gatherings or weekend brunches.

Ingredients

  • 20 link sausages
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 large cans evaporated milk
  • 3/4 lb shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 15 slices bread

Instructions

  1. Brown link sausages, cut into small pieces, and drain on paper towels.
  2. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and evaporated milk.
  3. Cube the bread and add to the egg mixture along with shredded cheese.
  4. Add the cooked sausage pieces to the mixture and combine well.
  5. Pour everything into a casserole or flat baking pan.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bake uncovered at 300°F (150°C) for 1 1/2 hours until set and golden.
