A sweet, sticky, and fragrant monkey bread made with cinnamon-sugar coated biscuit pieces baked in buttery glaze, perfect for sharing at breakfast or brunch gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 packages buttermilk pop-up biscuits, each cut into 4 pieces
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a plastic bag. Shake the biscuit pieces thoroughly until well coated.
  2. Pour the coated biscuit pieces into an ungreased Bundt pan.
  3. Pour melted margarine over the biscuit pieces, then sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts if desired.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and immediately turn the loaf onto a plate to serve.
