Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup soft margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 16 ounces powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons shortening

Instructions

  1. Mix the peanut butter, margarine, vanilla, and powdered sugar until well combined. Put the mixture in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  2. Shape the chilled peanut butter mixture into small balls.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening together until smooth.
  4. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, then place on wax paper to set.
  5. Put the dipped peanut butter balls in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving.
