Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cake paraffin
  • 1/4 lb. melted butter
  • 1 small jar creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 lb. sifted confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips with paraffin in a double boiler.
  2. Mix melted butter with creamy peanut butter.
  3. Add vanilla and sifted confectioners sugar gradually to the peanut butter mixture.
  4. Roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls.
  5. Use a long pronged fork to dip each ball into the melted chocolate, leaving the top exposed to resemble a buckeye.
  6. Drain the dipped candies and place them on wax paper to set.
