Ingredients

  • 1 c. Plus 2 t all-purpose flour
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/3 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Very warm water
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 c. Butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. Semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt onto waxed paper.
  3. Beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and egg in large bowl with electric mixer till fluffy, about 3 min.
  4. Beat in warm water and vanilla.
  5. Gradually beat in flour mix till blended and smooth.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto large greased baking sheet Bake in preheated 375F oven for 10 min or possibly till golden brown.
  8. Cold on sheet on wire rack 1 minute.
  9. Remove to wire rack to cold completely.
