- Melt oleo in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Add crushed cookies, reserving 3/4 cup for the top of the dessert.
- Mix the crushed cookies and oleo, then pat gently to form the bottom crust.
- Add softened vanilla ice cream over the crust and smooth it out.
- Freeze until firm.
- Cover the ice cream layer with fudge sauce.
- Sprinkle peanuts over the fudge sauce.
- Spread Cool Whip over the peanuts.
- Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs on top.
- Freeze again until ready to serve.
- Thaw for 20 minutes before serving.
