Butterfly pork chops are tender, flavorful cuts cooked with vegetables and tomato sauce, perfect for a hearty, comforting meal suited for family dinners and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 butterfly pork chops
  • olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • garlic salt to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 18 oz. can tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, sauté onion, green pepper, and red pepper sliced in olive oil.
  2. Season with garlic salt, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, brown the butterfly pork chops in olive oil.
  5. After browning, add the sautéed vegetables back into the skillet with the pork chops.
  6. Pour in the tomato sauce.
  7. Simmer covered for at least 2 hours.
  8. Cook angel hair spaghetti as directed on the package.
  9. Serve the sauce over the cooked spaghetti.
  10. Garnish with green vegetables, salad, and Italian bread if desired. Enjoy!
