Ingredients

  • 2 cups ground cooked ham
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 12 slices bread

Instructions

  1. Combine ground cooked ham, shredded Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, and prepared mustard.
  2. Spread the mixture on 6 slices of toasted bread.
  3. Top with the remaining 6 slices of bread to make sandwiches.
  4. Cut each sandwich into 4 pieces.
  5. Arrange the sandwiches in a baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam or brushed with oleo.
  6. Beat the eggs and add the milk.
  7. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the sandwiches, leaving space between the bread slices.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 35 to 40 minutes, uncovered.
