Ingredients

  • 5 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 large can tomato juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small cabbage

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pan.
  2. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 hour.
  3. Add the small head of cabbage and continue simmering for another hour.
  4. Reheat as desired, the soup tastes better with each reheating.
