Ingredients

  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
  • 3/4 c. warm milk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Cut in butter as for pie crust; set aside.
  3. Dissolve yeast in warm water (110~ to 115~).
  4. Add egg and warm milk to the flour mixture; mix well.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
