Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 package (6 oz.) butterscotch chips
  • 40 large marshmallows
  • 5 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Combine margarine with butterscotch chips in a large microwavable bowl. Microwave on High until melted, about 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
  2. Stir the melted mixture. Add marshmallows and microwave on High until melted, about 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cereal and peanuts, then press the mixture into an 8 x 12-inch glass dish.
  4. Allow to cool, then cut into squares.
