Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1/2 medium head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 (28 oz.) can chopped tomatoes, with liquid
  • 1 tomato can of water
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot.
  2. Add garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, celery, kidney beans with liquid, chopped cabbage, chopped tomatoes with liquid, water, and beef bouillon cubes.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
  5. Garnish with parsley before serving.
