- In a skillet or Dutch oven, cook butter and chopped onion over low heat until tender.
- Add chopped cabbage, sugar, salt, pepper, and vinegar to the pan.
- Cover and cook on low heat until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
- While the cabbage mixture is cooking, boil the noodles in water until done.
- Drain the noodles and add them to the cabbage mixture.
- Mix well and serve hot.
