Ingredients

  • 2 lb. neck bones
  • 8 medium potatoes, peeled
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
  • water (to cover)
  • 1/2 medium garlic clove, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups green beans

Instructions

  1. Place neck bones in the bottom of a soup pot.
  2. Add potatoes, salt, onions, parsley, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the pot.
  3. Place string beans on top of the other ingredients.
  4. Add water to cover all ingredients.
  5. Cover the pot and cook slowly until the potatoes and beans are tender and the flavors meld.
