Ingredients

  • cake mix
  • brown sugar
  • water
  • regular marshmallows
  • nuts
  • cocoa

Instructions

  1. In an oblong 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, mix sugar and cocoa; stir in water.
  2. Snip marshmallows into fourths and scatter over the mixture.
  3. Prepare cake mix according to package directions and spoon it over the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Sprinkle nuts on top of the cake batter.
  5. Bake at 350°F until done, about 30 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving; the dish will have a rich pudding at the bottom.
