Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen cauliflower
  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli spears
  • 1 1/2 cups carrots, sliced into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 3/4 tablespoon flour
  • 1 heaping tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen cauliflower, frozen broccoli, and sliced carrots until tender, then combine them in a baking dish.
  2. Make the cheese sauce by combining flour and butter or margarine in a small saucepan.
  3. Stir until the margarine melts, then add the milk.
  4. Continue stirring until the milk is hot and the sauce thickens; then add the grated cheese.
  5. Melt the cheese into the sauce and pour it over the cooked vegetables.
