Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
  2. Add sugar to the yeast mixture and stir.
  3. Add eggs, salt, flour, and butter to the mixture and combine to form a dough.
  4. Cover the dough and let it stand overnight without refrigeration.
  5. Next morning, roll the dough to a 9-inch diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into pie-shaped wedges.
  7. Roll each wedge from the large end and place on a well-greased cookie sheet.
  8. Cover and let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 10 minutes.
