- Heat oven to 400°F; put rack in middle of oven.
- Dark pans may require slightly lower temperature or shorter baking time than shiny pans.
- Grease muffin cups or use paper baking cups.
- Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared muffin cups.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
