Sweet, coconutty candy balls with a rich chocolate coating, perfect for parties or as a homemade treat that delights coconut and chocolate lovers alike.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. powdered sugar
  • 2 cans Angel Flake coconut
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 3 c. pecans
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 lb. paraffin

Instructions

  1. Mix powdered sugar, coconut, butter, milk, and pecans.
  2. Shape the mixture into balls and chill for 1 hour.
  3. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and paraffin over a double boiler.
  4. Keep the chocolate mixture warm.
  5. Dip each chilled ball into the chocolate mixture using a toothpick.
  6. Place the dipped balls on a cookie sheet and chill for a few minutes.
