- String and break green beans.
- Wash green beans and put them in clean jars.
- Cover beans with cold water and put lids on tight.
- Put jars in pressure canner and add water around the jars.
- Place lid on canner and heat on medium until it reaches 10 pounds pressure.
- Cook for 10 to 11 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
- Turn off heat and let the canner cool down.
- Remove jars and let them cool completely before storing.
