Ingredients

  • 1 can peas and onions, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 1 small jar pimento, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 stick melted butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Mix the drained peas and onions, undiluted cream of mushroom soup, drained and diced water chestnuts, chopped pimento, salt, and pepper together in a baking dish.
  2. Spread the cubed bread mixed with melted butter evenly over the top of the mixture.
  3. Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
