Ingredients

  • 14 oz. pkg. caramel candies
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup uncooked oats
  • 1/3 cup caramel or chocolate chips
  • nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt the caramels in the water in a double boiler.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in coconut, oats, and nuts.
  3. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Shape the mixture into 2 (12-inch) rolls.
  5. Frost with melted chocolate or caramel chips.
  6. Refrigerate until firm, then cut into 1/4-inch slices.
