Ingredients

  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 60 Kraft caramels
  • 1/2 cup Milnot
  • 1 package German chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt Kraft caramels with Milnot until smooth.
  3. Mix cake mix with melted butter, milk, and pecans.
  4. Spread half of the cake mixture in a greased and floured pan.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips on top.
  6. Pour the caramel mixture over, then spread the remaining cake mixture on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 13 minutes, then let the dessert set for several hours before serving.
