Ingredients

  • 4 batches microwaved popcorn
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
  2. Cook together until bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda; it will erupt.
  5. Pour mixture over popcorn in a vegetable oil sprayed pan.
  6. Use a turkey roaster top and bottom if available.
  7. Cook for 1 hour at 200°F, stirring every 15 minutes.
  8. Remove and dump onto wax paper to cool.
