Ingredients

  • 16 oz. linguine
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 4 oz. grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bake bacon until crisp, brown, and crumble.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Cook linguine according to package instructions.
  4. Drain and sauté in butter.
  5. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  6. Mix egg yolks and whipping cream well and pour into the pan used to sauté the pasta.
  7. Stir until thick over medium heat.
  8. Add grated Parmesan cheese and blend well.
  9. Pour sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
  10. Toss to combine and serve.
