Ingredients

  • 18 1/2 oz. yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick melted oleo
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix the yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and melted oleo until well combined.
  2. Spread the cake mixture evenly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs, cream cheese, and sugar, leaving out 1/4 cup of sugar.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle the coconut evenly on top of the mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until set and golden.
  7. Sprinkle 1/4 cup powdered sugar over the top after baking.
  8. Cool in the refrigerator before cutting into 30 squares and serving.
