Ingredients

  • 1 (6 lb.) carp
  • 5 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Gather a 12 x 12-inch pine board and butter one side.
  2. Cut the 6‑lb carp in half.
  3. Rub salt on both sides of the carp and sprinkle pepper on the pine board.
  4. Place the carp on the buttered side of the board and insert it into the oven.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and spread the canned tomatoes over the board.
  7. Discard the carp and enjoy the board as four 6 x 6‑inch servings.
