Cashew Triangles
Cashew triangles are buttery, nutty treats with a hint of chocolate, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and sharing at gatherings or as a delightful snack.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, softened butter, vanilla, and egg yolks in a bowl.
- Stir in all-purpose flour and salt until well combined.
- Press the dough evenly into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch rectangular pan with floured hands.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg white and water until frothy.
- Brush the egg white mixture over the dough in the pan.
- Sprinkle chopped salted cashews or toasted almonds over the top and press them lightly into the dough.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Cut into 3-inch squares, then cut each square diagonally in half to form triangles.
- Immediately remove the triangles from the pan and let them cool completely.
- Drizzle the cooled triangles with melted and cooled unsweetened chocolate.
- Let stand for about 2 hours or until the chocolate is set before serving.
