Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 2 medium onions
  • celery
  • carrots
  • potatoes, cubed
  • 1 qt. V-8 cocktail juice
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 or 3 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup tapioca

Instructions

  1. Mix together salt, sugar, and tapioca.
  2. Sprinkle the mixture over a layer of meat and vegetables.
  3. Pour V-8 cocktail juice over all ingredients.
  4. Cover and bake for 6 hours at 250°F or place in a crock-pot for 8 hours on low.
