Ingredients

  • 2 lb. catfish
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Boil the catfish until tender.
  2. Pick out all bones from the cooked fish.
  3. Season the fish with salt, pepper, and red pepper or hot sauce.
  4. Add the egg and flour to the seasoned fish.
  5. Mix well until combined.
  6. Shape the mixture into patties.
  7. Drop the patties into a small amount of hot oil and fry until browned on both sides.
  8. Serve while hot.
