Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (4 oz.) packages sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine, brown sugar, and eggs until fluffy.
  2. Add flour and salt and beat until smooth.
  3. Spread mixture into a 13 x 9-inch ungreased pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Melt chocolate and 1/2 cup margarine in a saucepan, stirring constantly until smooth.
  7. Stir in powdered sugar and slightly beaten eggs, beating until smooth.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Fold in marshmallows and nuts.
  10. Spread the chocolate mixture over the cooled cookie base.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  12. Cut into bars and serve.
