Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Make crumbs from flour, brown sugar, and butter.
  2. Remove 1 cup of crumbs and to this add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup chopped nuts.
  3. To the remaining crumbs, add 1 egg, 1 cup sour cream, and 1 teaspoon baking soda; mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into two 8-inch cake pans.
  5. Top with the reserved crumb mixture.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
