Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced celery
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup pimentos

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, cook sliced celery for 8 minutes. Drain and slice water chestnuts, then add to the celery.
  2. Stir in pimentos and cream of chicken soup.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. In a small bowl, blend melted butter with bread crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the casserole.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
