Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground lamb
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 6 pita bread rounds

Instructions

  1. Season ground lamb with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Shape the seasoned meat into cylinders 1 1/2 to 2 inches long.
  3. Refrigerate the shaped meat overnight.
  4. Cook the meat on a charcoal or wood grill, turning until done.
  5. Toast pita rounds until slightly brown but still flexible.
