Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. fresh white mushrooms
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • dash of fine herbs
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. white wine

Instructions

  1. Saute sliced mushrooms in butter, garlic salt, fine herbs, and black pepper.
  2. Add buttermilk and white wine to the mushrooms.
  3. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and serve with your preferred dish.
  5. For a thicker sauce, substitute sour cream for buttermilk.
