Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  2. Add the water and let this stand while the flour and baking powder are sifted three times.
  3. Beat all together thoroughly.
  4. Pour the batter into cupcake liners and bake in a moderate oven.
