Cheddar Breakfast Muffins are savory, cheesy treats with a hint of orange and wheat germ, perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch that appeals to all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg nut or date quick bread mix
  • 2 Tbsp wheat germ
  • 1 c shredded Cheddar
  • 1/2 c orange juice
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease the bottoms of 15 muffin cups or line them.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the bread mix, wheat germ, shredded Cheddar, orange juice, milk, and egg.
  4. Stir by hand 60 strokes.
  5. Divide the batter among the 15 muffin cups.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the pan.
