Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons dry onion soup mix, finely crushed

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  3. Shape into rolls about one-inch in diameter.
  4. Wrap each roll in foil and freeze.
  5. When ready to serve, slice crosswise into 1/8-inch thick pieces.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot.
