Cheddar Spinach Squares
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. quick crescent dinner rolls ⓘ
- 8 to 10 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. half and half or milk ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. salt ⓘ
- pinch of nutmeg ⓘ
- pinch of garlic powder ⓘ
- 1/4 c. flour ⓘ
- 3 eggs, beaten ⓘ
- pinch of pepper ⓘ
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, drained well ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Press crescent roll dough into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Pat and seal any perforation in dough.
- In medium bowl, combine cheese, flour, then add eggs, half and half, salt, pepper, nutmeg and garlic powder.
- Then add spinach.
- Mix well.
- Pour into crust.
- Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes until well set.
- Cut into squares. Serve warm.
- Makes approximately 24 to 36 servings.
