Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Separate the egg yolks and egg whites.
  2. Beat the yolks until thick.
  3. Add cooked rice, seasonings, milk, melted butter, and grated cheese to the yolks and mix well.
  4. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 40 minutes until set and golden.
