Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 14 oz. can condensed milk
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 4 to 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 14 oz. can whole milk
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add the cream cheese, condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and sugar to the eggs and mix until smooth.
  3. In a solid cake pan, melt 4 to 5 tablespoons of sugar over medium heat until caramel forms.
  4. Tilt the pan to spread the caramel to cover the sides evenly.
  5. Pour the custard mixture into the caramel-coated pan.
  6. Place the cake pan into another pan containing 1/2 inch of water to create a water bath (bain-marie).
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool. Separate the edges from the pan and refrigerate overnight.
  9. Invert the custard onto a serving platter so the caramel is on top and serve.
