Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 19-inch pan.
  2. Press one package of crescent rolls into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, vanilla, lemon juice, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  5. Place the second package of crescent rolls over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Beat the egg white with a fork until light and fluffy, then brush it evenly over the top of the rolls.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
