- Gradually add 1 egg and vanilla, and beat well.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in a greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Blend the cake mix with the remaining cream cheese, eggs, and water.
- Beat the mixture for 4 minutes.
- Spread the batter over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and cool completely.
- Serve topped with strawberries.
