Cheese twirls offer a savory, spicy blend of jalapeño cheese spread with a creamy, tangy filling of olives and cilantro, perfect for snacking or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Mexican pasteurized process cheese spread with jalapeno pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped pitted ripe olives
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Roll the process cheese spread between two pieces of wax paper to form a 9 x 12-inch rectangle.
  2. Beat the cream cheese, olives, and cilantro until well blended.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the process cheese spread.
  4. Starting at the narrow side, roll up to form a 9-inch roll.
  5. Garnish with additional cilantro, if desired.
  6. Chill, covered, until firm.
  7. Serve with assorted crackers.
